In western world, the idea of sovereignty is changed from the Islamic idea of sovereignty. The concept of western sovereignty does not speak about the characteristics of Allah Almighty as the Lord and the Creator of Universe. Whereas the Islamic concept of Sovereignty has been taken from the teachings of Holy Quran and the traditions of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). The word of sovereignty is taken from a Latin world i.e. Superanus. It means the control, the power or authority of one person over other.
If we define the concept of Sovereignty, we can say that when a group of people follow the commands and words of those individuals who have complete authority or power over all matters of government or the state. The doctrine of sovereignty of Allah Almighty plays an integral role in the Islamic ideology and religious obligations. All power or any sort of authority completely belong to Allah Almighty and only He belongs to this utmost power. The Holy Quran also utters the importance of sovereignty of Allah in the private and public affairs of Muslim. Allah is the master and the creator of heavens and the earth. It is Allah Almighty who gives life and death to human beings. He is the only one who control all natural process of life.
Here, now we going to discuss of some attributes of Allah Almighty. These attributes of Allah clearly explain the sovereignty and authority of Allah over whole Universe. Absolute is one of the important characteristics of Allah. It indicates that He has complete power over all things. He is Indivisible. His power or authority is also Indivisible. No one can participate or play any kind of role in His Sovereignty. Likewise, His sovereignty is also inalienable. It means, His supreme authority cannot be shared by anyone else. His power of Sovereign is unlimited and boundless. Thus, we all obey and follow the path of Allah Almighty and worship Him. Islam has given us many religious obligations like Namaz, Hajj, Fasting and Zakat, through which we can obey the orders of Allah Almighty. Now in the western countries, there are many institutes who provide various Islamic services.
