40 Free Vector Patterns For Designers
One of the more important things when it comes to designing is whether the graphic you intend to create should be vector or otherwise bitmaps.
Vector Images vs. Bitmap Images
There is a huge difference between the two. Vector images are basically patterns or shapes formed using geometric shapes and they don’t utilize your average pixel, which means you can scale them as much as you possibly like without disturbing resolution or having rendering issues. Of course, that is entire different with bitmap images. They would utilize your pixels and the more you scale them higher, the more the quality will be affected. So, if you are designing something from scratch, it is always better to use vector images as much as possible because there are no scaling issues whether you go up or down as compared to the bitmaps.
